Sue McEntee, Executive Director
Sue is responsible for the overseeing of all CFSWIA activities. Specifically, she is responsible for CFSWIA investments and serves as the primary liaison between the CFSWIA and individuals, parishes, schools, and organizations within the Catholic Church of Southwest Iowa.
Prior to coming to the CFSWIA, Sue led a senior living not-for-profit as their Director of Philanthropy. Most notably, Sue previously served at Sacred Heart Parish in West Des Moines as Development Director and Construction Manager. She has worked in philanthropy, advancement, and development roles. Sue gained her Bachelor's Degree from UNI and her Master's Degree from Drake.
As a native of Bancroft, IA, Sue and her husband, Scott, now reside in the Des Moines area. Sue and Scott have three sons, Matt, Zach, and Jake, a daughter-in-law, Jenna, and two granddaughters, Peyton and Kinley. The McEntee's are parishioners at Assumption in Granger and frequent guests at St. Theresa’s in Des Moines, where the McEntee family has worshiped for many years. Sue is excited to build on the success of the CFSWIA and help CFSWIA serve as a resource to bring new opportunities and growth to the Catholic families, communities, and organizations of Southwest Iowa.
Rachel Seidl, Marketing and Communications Manager
Rachel is the face behind all of our resource materials, online content, and creative content. She also manages the day-to-day office tasks.
Prior to coming to the CFSWIA, Rachel was a student at Loras College. She studied Public Relations and spent her time at Loras involved in Campus Ministry, Loras College Dance Marathon, and worked at the on-campus library. Rachel has a passion for serving through the Church. She spent the summer of 2017 as a staff member at Catholic Youth Camp and has led various retreats, religious education courses, and Confirmation prep courses and retreats.
A native of Urbandale, Rachel attended St. Pius X School and Dowling Catholic High School. She has three older siblings, Becca, Matt, and Laurie, and she just welcomed her first niece, Grace! Rachel is excited to help Catholic parishes, schools, and organizations in the Diocese through her creative eyes and hands. Rachel is living in Urbandale and is an active parishioner at St. Pius X Parish.
